1. Scope and agreement
This license is between Wensity Private Limited ("Wensity") and the person or entity lawfully acquiring Wensity's proprietary component or block source code and accompanying documentation (the "Software"). By using the Software, you accept this license. A purchase grants a license, not ownership. Repository access alone does not grant a license to use Wensity's website, backend, or other internal code; rights in that code are reserved unless separately granted.
2. Separate licenses and existing rights
Components expressly released by Wensity as Free/MIT, including its free public registry artifacts, remain under the MIT License. The Wensity CLI and its bundled @wensity/preset code remain MIT licensed. Third-party dependencies and assets retain their own licenses. Standalone templates are governed by the license supplied with that template. This license does not restrict those separate rights or revoke rights already granted in copies previously released under MIT or another license. THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md identifies third-party obligations and exceptions.
3. Permitted projects
Subject to this license and payment of applicable fees, Wensity grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual license to copy, use, and modify Software lawfully obtained under your plan, and incorporate it into unlimited personal, commercial, internal, SaaS, and client projects. You may charge for access to or sell completed end products. An end product must provide functionality or content beyond supplying reusable components, templates, or source code. You may distribute compiled or bundled application code, including JavaScript normally delivered to browsers, as necessary to run an end product. This permission does not authorize distribution of reusable source, source maps exposing the Software, or a source-code export feature.
4. Developers and client handover
A Pro license covers one developer. A Team license covers the developers authorized by the purchased or separately agreed team entitlement. Developers accessing the Software to create projects must be covered by the appropriate license; do not share accounts or tokens. Private repositories, backups, and confidential hosting or build services are permitted for authorized work. You may privately deliver source incorporated into a bespoke client end product to that client and its maintainers solely to operate and maintain that end product, provided they are bound in writing to equivalent confidentiality and redistribution restrictions. They receive no right to extract the Software for other projects, share it, or create reusable products. Reuse in other projects requires their own appropriate Wensity license. You are responsible for source access you authorize.
5. No source redistribution or competing products
Except for the limited permissions in sections 3 and 4, you may not sell, resell, sublicense, publish, redistribute, lend, gift, or share the Software or modifications of it, in whole or in part, whether free or paid. In particular, you may not publish it in public repositories, package registries, courses, source downloads, shared drives, or community channels; distribute it as a template, theme, starter kit, UI kit, component pack, or library; or use it to build or supply a competing component library, marketplace, builder, or service that provides access to reusable Software or derivatives. Changing names, styles, structure, or framework does not remove these restrictions. You may not remove proprietary notices or represent Wensity's code as your original work. No Wensity trademark or endorsement rights are granted.
6. Ownership and third-party terms
Wensity retains ownership of the Software. You retain rights in your own original contributions and end products, subject to Wensity's rights in the incorporated Software. You must preserve applicable copyright and license notices, including third-party notices, when delivering permitted copies. No visible Wensity credit is required in an end product. This license grants no additional rights to third-party libraries, fonts, photographs, models, logos, or other assets; obtain any separate permissions they require. Third-party licenses control their respective materials, including any rights those licenses require you to provide to recipients.
7. Duration and breach
Your right to use versions lawfully obtained continues after a subscription expires, provided you comply with this license. Access to new versions, downloads, support, and services follows your purchased plan. If you materially breach this license, Wensity may terminate it by written notice if you do not remedy the breach within 14 days after notice. On termination, stop using and distributing the affected Software and delete your copies, except copies required by law. Rights of clients who received permitted end products before termination and continue to comply are not terminated solely by your breach. Sections concerning restrictions, ownership, third-party rights, and liability survive termination.
8. Warranty and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Software is provided "AS IS", without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. Wensity is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the Software. Wensity's aggregate liability under this license is limited to the amount you paid for the applicable Software license. These exclusions and limits do not apply where prohibited by law and do not limit non-waivable statutory rights.
9. Applicable terms
The laws of India govern this license, subject to mandatory protections under applicable law. The Wensity Terms of Service govern accounts, payments, and services; this license controls any conflict about use or redistribution of the Software. A separate written agreement signed by Wensity controls to the extent it expressly varies this license. Future license changes do not reduce rights already granted for lawfully obtained versions.
